City of Helsinki has received the IBM Smarter City Challenge report, compiled by an international team of experts. In the collaboration project, the team collected information based on Helsinki city open data and compiled recommendations on the possibilities of joining and visualizing the data. The project is also a part of the World Design Capital Helsinki 2012 program. Read more »

An application designed by WhileOnTheMove from Oulu, Finland, has been selected to compete in the finals of Contactless Intelligence Contactless & Mobile Awards. The international competition awards new NFC technologies and innovations in the field. The awards gala will be held in London on April 26th, 2012. Read more »

The Urbanflow concept has been selected to participate in the The Best of the Year 2011 competition. The concept aims at envisioning how digital urban screens in the Helsinki area could act as interactive municipal interfaces and data distributors in a greater scale than today. The City of Helsinki and Forum Virium Helsinki contracted Nordkapp for the concept creation. Read more »
