Urban IoT / Smart to Future Cities 2015 conference examines how cities enable smart citizens as part of connected, sustainable cities. Organised in the 28 – 29 of April in London, it offers a programme of 50+ speakers and expects more than 250 attendees to participate.
The two-day conference includes carefully curated sessions, interactive formats and plenty of networking. The programme includes themes like:
 
  • IoT driven technologies improving city transport
  • Engaging and empowering citizens, connecting them to each other and the IoT
  • Giving citizens access to open urban data
  • Smart city governance & standards
  • UK city case studies
On the 28th of April, Forum Virium Helsinki’s Smart Kalasatama Project Leader Veera Mustonen participates an interactive panel session about open data. The panel examines how open data enables citizens to collaborate with their smart city. Other panelists are:
