Organisation
Forum Virium Helsinki is a cooperation cluster that promotes the development of digital services. It consists of a group of companies and public institutions. The aim is to create better services and new business, plus to open up contacts for international markets.
Forum Virium Helsinki is an operation of RTT Ltd, which is owned by the City of Helsinki. Alongside of the RTT Ltd Board of Directors, Forum Virium Helsinki is led by its own Steering Group and Working Committee.
Forum Virium Helsinki’s office staff is responsible for managing and coordinating projects, communications and the organising of seminars and events. The office is located in the Helsinki city center, next to Senate Square.

The activities of Forum Virium Helsinki focus on the following: Wellbeing, Smart City, Media, Environment and Energy, Innovative Public Procurement, SME Services and Innovative Communities (Living labs).
World Design Capital Helsinki 2012
Helsinki is the World Design Capital in 2012. The year's theme is Open Helsinki - embedding design in life.
