The five Nordic capitals are introducing the Nordic Independent Living Challenge to find innovative solutions and technologies for the elderly and disabled. In Finland, the City of Helsinki and Forum Virium Helsinki are organizing the challenge competition.
The four stage competition will be launched in February 2015 and the main prize is 1 000 000 NOK (approx. 120 000 Euros). Furthermore, participants are offered knowledge, mentoring, workshops, matchmaking events, financial support, real-life testing facilities – and a unique opportunity to work directly with the Nordic capitals.
Registration opens on the 5th of February 2015 at 12.00 CET. Deadline for proposals is 18 March 2015. (Extended from 15 March.)
In Finland, the Nordic Independent Living Challenge launches at eHealth fair held in Messukeskus on the 8th January 2015.
