Forum Virium Center

The Forum Virium Center will become a unique meeting point for companies developing digital services. The aim is to create a center that will allow businesses to network, go international and grow.

The essential idea behind the Forum Virium Center is to provide a neutral ground for businesses of all sizes – SMEs through large corporations – to develop their businesses. A wide range of high- growth services are offered for start-up companies. In addition, the center will act as a meeting place where businesses, public institutions and citizens can network. The Forum Virium Center will become an important hub in the national and international business community. The Forum Virium Center will be built in the Central Pasila district of Helsinki, close to YLE - the Finnish Broadcasting Company, and MTV3.

Versatile real estate services

Forum Virium Center will provide a versatile range of real estate services. Exhibition facilities and promotion services will be available as well as comfort- able conference rooms and larger rooms for corporate events. Office, reception, telephone exchange and mail services will also be provided.

A modern local access network (LAN) with high-speed data communication connections will be available in the center which make video conferencing easy. There will also be a staff restaurant, a café and catering services. Companies will be free to choose the services that meet their needs best.

The Forum Virium Center project started in 2007. Forum Virium Helsinki’s cooperation partners in this project are Sponda Plc and YLE Pension Fund. Forum Virium Helsinki is responsible for developing the business concept for the center, for designing the service concept and for the architecture of the digital services, and for their practical implementation. Forum Virium Helsinki will also handle the partnership negotiations for the project, facilitate networking and manage the project communications.
