Members and co-operation partners

The membership structure of the Forum Virium Helsinki cluster is quite diverse, consisting of public and private sector actors, ranging from the small to the extremely large. The core aim is to bring together different types of actors within various projects to encourage the creation of dynamic new public services.

The driving force behind Forum Virium Helsinki remains the organisations involved in its formation. From the public sector, the City of Helsinki is Forum Virium Helsinki’s significant member organisation. The City of Helsinki Health Centre, Helsinki City Tourism & Convention Bureau, City of Helsinki Economic and Planning Centre, Helsinki City Library and Helsinki Regional Transport Authority have all participated actively in various project collaborations. The City of Helsinki is the owner of RTT Ltd, the organisation instrumental in creating Forum Virium Helsinki. A variety of small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) also take part in project collaborations.

In addition to its own membership, Forum Virium Helsinki has a comprehensive peripheral network of cooperation partners, particularly in the metropolitan area, involved in its project work. These include Culminatum Innovation, Greater Helsinki Promotion, and members of the Helsinki Living Lab network. Forum Virium Helsinki also works in cooperation with the Ministry of Employment and the Economy, Aalto University and other higher education institutions.
